A large square plate gives a stairwell door a sign with room to spare. One bar adds your accent, the other grounds the design, and the raised lettering spells out STAIRS in a form that is easy to read by sight and by touch. It works well on doors that face wide corridors, where a smaller sign could be overlooked.

On open floors and campus buildings, it helps visitors find the stairs at a glance.
